Kayaking through a cave is a great way to start the new year! After one last morning on the bay, my afternoon was spent back in Hanoi with a visit to Hoa Lo prison (a.k.a. the Hanoi Hilton - a fascinating view of propaganda in action) and a final round of pho and coconut coffee before hopping a night train to Hue.
