It has been so interesting to cycle along backroads in central Thailand and see the many different crops grown. Over the past few days, we have seen countless rubber tree plantations, and today, we stopped for a closer look. On a daily basis, notches are carved into the wood and the sap is channelled into bowls. As it dries, it hardens into a rubbery solid, which is collected and sold. Who knew?
