Today was the perfect day to explore the Caminito del Rey, a walkway pinned along the steep walls of a narrow gorge in El Chorro. Originally constructed between 1901 and 1905 for workers at a hydroelectric plant, major renovations were made to improve the safety of the walkway in 2015 (the remains of the original can be seen underneath the reconstructed portion).
