The Alhambra! Granada's famous royal palace with 9th century roots, rebuilt by the Moors in the 14th century and serving as the palace of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella in the 15th century after Granada was conquered in the Reconquista. There are four primary materials used throughout the palace - ceramic tiles, marble, wood and stucco (ceiling and wall in the Nasrid palace pictured above). It's absolutely stunning!
