We hadn't had our fill of lava sightings during our stay at Volcanoes National Park, so we got an early start to hike the 11-mile (roundtrip) route to see the lava from Pu'u' O'o flowing into the Pacific. If you look really closely above, you can see the orange of the lava, which is quickly covered in steam as it hits the water.
